Do you offer golf lessons?
Yes! Keith Rogers of 5280 Golf Instruction was voted as Best Instructor for Men by the staff at Colorado Avid Golfer. Check out our Lessons section for more information.
Can I bring a non-golfer to ride with me?
Of course! The non-golfer riding fee is $22 when available.
Do your golf carts have GPS?
Yes, if you choose to ride in a golf cart you automatically get access to the GPS. The GPS will measure directly to bunkers, trees and the green.
How far in advance can I book a tee time?
- Public- 8 days
- FirstPlay Advanced Reservations- 9-90 days
- Individual, Family & Twilight Members- 10 days
- Corporate Members- 12 days
Can we play alone as a twosome?
GVR reserves the right to pair you with other players depending on tee time availability. If the other two player slots go unfilled, then playing as two-some is allowed.
Can kids play?
Yes! Junior fees are for kids 18 and younger. Rates vary by season and can be viewed in our Rates section. Junior rates only available Monday-Thursday.
Do you have a dress code policy?

Is there a practice facility?
GVR has a full grass driving range during the season then transitions to artificial mats in the off-season. We also have a practice putting green and short-game area with sand bunkers.
What is your cancellation policy?
- All tee time cancellations & reductions are subject to a 24-hour cancellation/reduction policy. Cancellations/reductions can be completed online or by calling the Golf Shop at 303-371-3131.
- If 24-hour advance notice is not given for canceling a reservation, changing the number of players, or if any player(s) no show(s) in that tee time, GVRGC reserves the right and you may be subject to a charge of a minimum of $25 up to the full green fee per open slot/no-show.
What is your expected pace of play?
The expected pace of play at GVR is 4 hour and 30 minutes. All Players must keep pace with the group in front of them and/or on pace with our pace of play matrix. If you fall out of position or behind relative to the matrix (15 minutes per hole), you will be asked to regain your position on the course.
Do you allow five-somes?
No- keeping groups to four players or less improves the pace of play and helps keep rounds more enjoyable for all golfers.
Do you have rental clubs?
Yes! We have TaylorMade premium rental sets available. A rental set for 18 holes is $65 and for 9 holes is $39. Each rental set comes with one sleeve of TaylorMade Tour Response golf balls.
Do I need a tee time?
A tee time is highly encouraged in order to minimize any inconveniences.
Are range balls included in the price?
One warm up bucket is included in each player's greens fee.
Can I bring outside food and beverage on the golf course?
No- all food and beverages must be purchased while on property either through the Green Valley Smokehouse and Oyster Bar, The Bunker (Halfway House) or beverage carts.
Is there a restaurant on property?
Yes- the Green Valley Smokehouse & Oyster Bar is located next to the Golf Center. They offer fantastic BBQ and seafood choices! For more info click here.
Can I share my golf clubs?
No- each player must have their own set of clubs.
Why do you require a credit card with my tee time reservation?
We require a credit card on file for all reservations due to our cancellation policy. Your credit card will not be charged until you check-in with the Golf Shop. If you’d like to use a different method of payment when you arrive, please let our staff know.
Do you have a mobile app?
Absolutely! Head to the Apple Store or Google Play Store to download it. You can keep in touch with what's going on at the course, book tee times, track your score and so much more!
How close are you to the Downtown Denver, Gaylord Resort & Denver Airport?
We are about 25 minutes from Downtown Denver, 7 minutes from the Gaylord Resort and 9 minutes from the airport. We're in a perfect location for you to stop by to play a round of golf or hit some balls on the range if you're visiting the Denver area.
Do you have a Par 3 course?
Yes- it features holes ranging from 50-130 yards. The course is great for kids, beginners or if you just want to get a quick 9 holes in. The Par 3 is walking only and no carts are allowed on the course. For more info click here.
What is the First Tee- Green Valley Ranch?
The First Tee program helps kids not only learn the skills of golf, but also life skills. Skills include self-management, interpersonal communication, goal-setting and much more! To learn more about the First Tee program check out their website.
When is your driving range open?
The driving range is open approximately 30 minutes before the first tee time and closes approximately 45 minutes before sunset. This is with the exception of closing an hour early every Monday for clean picks and opening late every Tuesday morning for a range floor mow.
